Today is my wife Alissa's birthday.  We are flying into Hawaii tonight and will stay there for 3 days and then return home on our companies corporate jet.  We bought a beach house on the island of Maui and what a better time to go down and spend a few days and remember what summer is like in October.  I set up a great romantic evening at one of the best fine dining restaurants on the island and what better way to end the night having Dalen's dad playing fresh new songs from his new CD that was recently released.  On our way back to the beach house I prearranged a white horse to be staged and come riding up to Alissa and I on the beach at the appropriate time to ride to the nesting quarters.  The best thing about this trip is not nearly all of the great and fun things that we get to do on this trip but the fact that I have my beautiful wife to do it with.  OK, this is not going to happen this year.  If you get a chance send her some Xanga birthday love.

Home sweet home, Liss and I made are move the other day from Tulsa to Bismarck, ND.  So far it has been amazing times, I have done so much already went boating, fishing, sighted in my 30/6 deer rifle, going to the ranch this weekend, taken long motorcycle rides looking at the beautiful scenery and have spent some good time with my relatives.  Even though I have not lived here for 8 years I still feel that I can come back and feel like I have never missed a beat other than the 2 Walmart Supercenters going up which all the locals either love or hate.  Anyway's good times, Liss and I both graduated this pass couple weeks and saw two incredible friends get married.  I had a wonderful time during the week of the wedding hanging out with some of Nates close buddies and then seeing some older buddies as well.  Nate is going to be an incredible husband, one thing I love about couples when they become married is this mantle that I have noticed in the men that I believe is from God.  Its hard to explain in words but if your married you probably know what I am trying to say.  It is leadership, and attitude of wanting to provide the things that God has asked husbands to provide for their wives.  Well, that's the attitude that I saw Nate with after they became married.

This month of my senior semester has been chaos.  I feel as though the deadlines never end.  If it is not a Strategic Mangement project, then it is some test or laundry day because I dont have any more socks.  If life is always like this sign me up to do something easy (yah right).  The last thing I want is to be mediocre.  How is a person catergorized as mediocre anyway? I love at least feeling that I am productive although in light of things it could just be my messed up reality.  Don't read into this to much for all you analyst.  The times that make me want to just lock my door to my house and never come out, are the times when Liss and I can just chill and not wake up until 1pm after going to bed at 4am because we were hangin with friends all night or cuddling watching a movie by the fire.  After these times of relaxing I dread taking that step out of my door and saying hello to bills, work, and other responsibilty.  Why I say all this?  I dont know, why not.

My esposa and I are going to Colorado this weekend, leaving Thursday for all of those that intend on stealing my stuff.  I would not suggest it because Oklahoma has developed a new security law that you would not want me to show you the outcome.  It's a four letter word.....dead.  Anyways, we are going to chill with the Vedros clan and do some riding in Monarch.  I am praying for a two foot dump the night before I arrive.

Miss you all!

Here's my brother in law after we shot some turkeys out on the ranch.  I love being a man!!!

http://clevermill.com/lincoln/lincoln.html

Last night was one of those nights that I store away in my memory and tell the story every time the moment is ripe.  So here it is, a few buddies and my wife took advantage of the two inches of snow that we recieved here in Tulsa the other day.  We all meet in the ORU parking lot unexpectedly with all of us having the same intention, to do the longest and fastest cookies or doughnuts (whetever you call them) possible.  My buddy Loren has a huge Lincoln that made some great video footage of this massive car slidding 50 mph  for about 100 - 150 ft sideways and then transitioning into several cookies near the end of its course.  Nate Moore's truck Bubba showed us what the Texan can do, it was nice however us northerners could teach him a few things.  My wife's neon impressed me very much, the e brake was the power that led it to do things that most neon' s have probably never done.  We finished the night off at about 1am, going home screaming and yelling knowing that memories like this do not happen everyday. Above is the link to show you what I am talking about.
